Sehar Baba Waterfall

Sehar Baba Waterfall is one of the biggest waterfall in North India. Located on the Chenab River in Reasi District standing at an elevation of 466 meters, it descends from over 100 feet making a spectacular view. The gurgling, roaring noise dictates its authority. You can’t talk to your friends nearby; you need to yell to be heard! Earth and water of this region is said to have medicinal values. The soothing balm of earth found around the temple cures different skin eruptions. People throng this place looking to cure their ailments. Bathing here is an exhilarating experience. The waterfall is about 10 km from the town of Reasi, in Talwara village and around 40 km from Katra. Private taxies ply to and fro Katra and other nearby places.
